Esther Emmitt

Services for Esther Emmitt will be at 11a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at North Star Baptist Church with Minister Roosevelt Harris Jr. officiating. Burial will be in St. Mark Methodist Cemetery, under direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.

Ms. Esther Emmitt age 89, of Natchitoches entered eternal rest on June 8, 2023 at her residence.

Ms. Esther is preceded in death by her husband Jerome Emmitt Jr. daughter Flora Emmitt Smith, her parents Alfred and Florence Henderson, brother, Yancy Henderson, two special sisters in laws Roberta Calhoun (B.C.) and Ira Richmond, her deceased in laws Rosie Johnson, Estelle Frazier, Alberta Burks, Ms. Eddie Emmitt & Willie Emmitt.

She is survived by two daughters Betty Woods (Joe), Geneva Burton (Jessie), brother Leroy Henderson, Era Derry, grandchildren; Slyvia Vanzant, Ikee Casson Flora Gordon, Raven Burton, Derrick Casson (Kori), Derrell Coz, Corden Burton (Nacole), 11 great-great grandchildren, and 22 great grand.
