Mrs. Frances Johnson was born on March 4, 1950 in Palmetto, LA to Blanche and Mildred Romar. She was a faithful and devoted mother, wife, and grandmother. She retired from the VA Medical Center in Pineville, LA in 2013 after 20 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family & friends, cooking, gardening, helping others and traveling. She was a faithful member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Alexandria, LA. She was a strong and courageous woman that believed in her faith in God, and exemplified it through her thoughts and deeds in the lives of others unselfishly.
To cherish her memory, Frances leaves her loving and devoted husband; Willie James Johnson Sr., Three children Mildred “Millie” Price (Quentin Sr.), Henry W. Carter Jr. (Shandrika) and Willie J Johnson Jr. (Jill). Five grandchildren; Akiya Carter, Franjone’ Price, Aiden Johnson, Quentin Price Jr., and Henry Carter III. A nephew Travis Romar and his children; Travis Romar, Trayvon Romar, Winter Romar, & Messiah Romar. One sister Florence Sanders (Roy), four brothers Joseph Romar (Diane), John Romar (Christina), James Romar, and Ray Romar (Lisa). Host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents Blanche & Mildred Romar, and her sister Diane Romar Moore.
Viewing will be at St. James Memorial Catholic Church in Alexandria, LA on April 26, 2019 from 5pm to 8pm.
Celebration of life services will be held at 11am on April 27, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lebeau, LA located at 103 Lebeau Church Rd. Lebeau, LA. Rosary will began at 10:15am.
Very Reverend Craig Scott, VF will be officiating services.
