Kay’Irian Menyal Lenay Barber was born June 19, 2001 to Yokoshimada Barber and Carlos Batiste, being reared and raised by Knodolus Shackleford, Sr.
Kay’Irian, accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age and was baptized at First New Light Missionary Baptist Church, by her great-grandfather the Late Reverend (Dr.) Wardell Williams.
Kay’Irian was educated in Rapides Parish School System, and employed at CLTCC where she also attended as a student working towards obtaining a certificate in coding.
Kay’Irian was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents Rev.(Dr.) Wardell Williams & Betty Lou Williams , Richard Goff and Leona Goff and Freddie House, paternal grandmother Gloria Jean Shackleford Hall and Robena Batiste.
Kay’Irian leaves to cherish her memories, (2) sons, she loved unconditionally Khy’zlyn D’shawn Barber & Kar’son Wayne Harper, mother Yokoshimada Barber Blade bonus father Ike Blade, fathers, Carlos Batiste, Knodolus Shackleford, Sr.,(Kayla) maternal grandmother, Janice Williams Goff, maternal grandfathers Dennis Goff and Stanley Barber , Paternal grandfather Carlton Batiste, (4) sisters Shydolis Shackleford, Karlaja, Syrians, and Paris, (4) brothers Knodolus Shackleford, Jr., Karl’Mareon, London, and Karl’ Nelius. (7) Aunts Chamicka Autry , Sade Goff Davis, Carlmeka, Carldreska, Carlshunda, Carlquetta, and Keinya, (1) Uncle Carlterrick Batiste, her God Parents Stephanie and John Tademy, God-Sister Shenna Collins along with a host of cousins living far and near, and other relatives, and many friends.
