Services for Ms. Mary Elizabeth Jackson will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Scott Chemino officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Methodist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.
Ms. Mary Elizabeth Jackson, age 73, of Cheneyville, La, entered eternal rest on December 28, 2022, at Summit Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Nadine Robinson Jackson and Willie Jackson Sr., three brothers; Ambrose Jackson Sr., Jessie Jackson and Willie Jackson Jr., three sisters; Beadrice Fields, Cora Lewis and Clo Coleman, and devoted brother-in-law Alfred Kensie Sr.
She is survived by two nieces; Stacy Lynn Smith (Goddaughter) (Donte Sr.) and Danetta Harton (Isaiah), three close nephews; Afred Kensie Jr. (Latonya), Abraham Fields Jr. and Fredrick Holmes, two sisters Malinda Jackson and Ernestine Kensie, close niece; Kirsten Smith (Fred), close great nephews Joseph Smith III, and Donte Reed Jr., one uncle Raymond Daniels, 8 nieces and 22 great nieces and nephews, one nephew and a host of cousins and friends.
