Rose Ann Basco Culbert

Services for Rose Ann Basco Culbert will be at 11:00am on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Second Union Baptist Church. Rev. James Hardison will be officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.


On September 16, 2024, Sister Rose Ann Basco Culbert finished her life's journey on this earth. She went to accept her place with her heavenly father.


Sister Rose Ann Basco Culbert was born in Pineville Louisiana on April 7, 1952 to the late great Herman Howard and Emily Basco Howard.


In addition to her parents and she was preceded in death by three sisters, Bobby Jean Laird, Frankie Laird. and Judy Mae Scott, four brothers Earnest Laird, Danny Ray Laird, Genaro Howard, Sr and William Bryan Laird and her mother-in-law Dorothy Culbert.


Ross leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted husband, Albert Culbert Jr, two daughters Saconda , L Baty (Guy) and Stacey E Dotson, two sons Shannon D. Dotson, (Bianca), and Johnny Dotson Jr., three sisters Katherine Coty, Jamie Laird, and Wanda Laird, tthree brothers Sherman, Basco, Johnny Ray Laird, and Epherain Laird, four sister-in-laws Dorothy Culbert, Shirley Johnson, Millie Laird and Kela Barraka, three brother-in-laws Carl Culbert (Mary), Gilbert Culbert (Jackie), and Donald Culbert, grandchildren Marcus, Toreon, Kye'sha, Guy, III, LaQuanda, Sandra, Shannon, Dorian, Sha'Bria, Skylur, Kelsi, Ja'Koree, Kyron, Nakia,, Keldrick Caleb, Josiah, Markise, Jasmine, Sed'Terica, and Darian, 18 great grandchildren, three adopted children, Domika Laird, Davetrick Laird (Lisa) and Daphney Laird, two additional children that she raised as her own Lydia White and Kenderick Drakes, one stepdaughter Tiffany Culbert, goddaughter Holle Dozier, special cousin, Juliette Brown, special friend Maxine Payne, and a host of nieces, nephews cousins, other relatives and friends.
