Services for Valorie Groves will be at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Robinson Family Mortuary, 1815 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA. Pastor Robert Austin will be officiating. Interment will be in Raven Camp Cemetery, Colfax, LA.
Mrs. Groves, 53, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on November 9, 2020 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Pineville, LA. Valorie was baptized at an early age by Pastor Jim Wheatley. She attended Bolton High School. Valorie worked for St. Christina and Pecan Grove.
She is preceded in death by her father: Robert Smith, sister: Doris Manning, and son: Eric Smith.
Valorie leaves to cherish her memories – husband: Robert Groves, sons: Roderick Smith, Kenderick Groves, and Dedderick Groves, mother: Joann Smith, brothers: Rick Mason, Christopher Smith, Robert Smith, Joseph Smith, Jason Smith, Dale Smith, sisters: Ronder Smith and Tina Smith, and special cousin: Derrick Wayne Mason, along with 10 grandchildren.
